These large filterbags are ideal for large quantities of substrate or spawn. Thy can contain 5 to 7 Liter (3 to 5Kg) of spawn or substrate. The filterbag is designed with a series of 6 parallel filter seams. These ensure the uninhibited growth of mycelium from top to bottom. The filter guarantee a highly efficient gas exchange process over the entire bag and at the same time they form a barrier against microorganisms. The filter works according to the principle of depth filtration, so that the substrate under the filter zones does not become dehydrated.
They can also be used as a perfect fruiting-chamber/terrarium for cubensis strains. With the use of these filterbags there is no need for a advanced fruiting-chamber!
These filterbags are autoclavable, which means that you can sterilize them in a pressure cooker.
